Nursery Design Reveal: Sydney Kaylynn Haugerud

July 23rd, 2018 Was an amazing day - having our 3rd little sweetheart!  We couldn't be more in LOVE with her and in love with the amazing addition she has made to our family.  It's been 3 weeks today since we had our sweet baby girl Sydney Kaylynn Haugerud.  It's been a whirlwind, adjusting to a family of 5 and hence the reason it's taken us awhile to get her sweet nursery design reveal out and posted but here we are now!

When we found out we were having another little girl, I couldn't be more excited to design another baby girls nursery. I thought out every detail of this space because I wanted it to be perfect, knowing it would be the last time I could make a nursery exactly as I wanted.

There was one photo in particular that caught my eye early on that became the inspiration for the entire nursery.  When I saw the image below from Georgianna Lane on Etsy, I knew it had to be in the nursery!

The overall design for the nursery is Parisian Chic, where we wanted to create a romantic and effortlessly polished look and feel.  We kept the space light and airy, using SW Ibis White on the walls which is a perfectly beautiful white that carries slight blush undertones.  This is the perfect backdrop for the space that allows the details of the room and the walls to stand out.

We've been dying to reveal her nursery to you and today's the day!  So we won't keep you waiting any longer...ENJOY!

Crib

We framed out her crib with these beautiful floral wall decals which creates a romantic backdrop in this corner.  We chose Monique Lhuillier Ethereal bedding from Pottery Barn.  For the fitted crib sheet we chose the floral bird pattern from the collection which has a slight blush undertone.  We paired that with the Ethereal tulle crib skirt which creates that perfect feminine combination.  I created the "Sydney" sign above her crib and double framed it with an antique white frame around a more modern brass frame.

Dresser and Gallery Wall

For this area, we searched for the perfect dresser for her room and finally found it through Carver Junk Company.  It initially had oil rubbed bronze hardware on it which wasn't the look we were going for so CJC switched them out for these perfect brass pulls.  Then there is this gallery wall!!!  This is where the inspiration image resides - here on this gallery wall layout which holds more beautiful imagery from the amazing Georgianna Lane!  We honestly couldn't decide which images we wanted to use so we decided to go with smaller 5x5 images to maximize the amount that would fit on that wall.  We're pretty obsessed with this wall!

Window Seat

When we spotted this adorable blush velvet ottoman at Target we knew it had to go in the nursery!  I knew it would be perfect underneath the window, creating this adorable window seat space! We added these romantic DKNY floral window treatments and McGee and Co. floral pillow cover.

Rocker and Reading Corner

Of course you can't have a nursery without having a rocking chair and reading space.  Here we used more images from Georgianna Lane because we just really couldn't get enough!! And there's nothing like reading to a sweet baby so we put up our favorite picture ledges to use as low profile bookshelves.  To add more color to this corner, we found this perfect square ottoman, pink lumbar pillow and throw blanket!  The brass floor lamp brings in that needed modern touch to the corner and carries the brass over from the dresser as well.
