Favorite Projects | A Look Back at 2019

We cannot believe that 2019 is coming to a close! What a great year it was for EH Design. We love to look back and recap the year because as quick as it felt it went, a lot happens. We not only had some fantastic projects, but those projects also came with some fantastic clients, and for that we are grateful! EH Design has a lot in store for 2020 and we can’t wait to share it all with you.

We believe that you cannot get a proper picture of the year ahead until you properly recap the year just past. What is it that made it unique and what, within the projects stood out. That being said, here is our look back into 2019…

Recurring themes in our designs:

Comfort – this is always at the top of the list when we are designing and always will be.
Moody spaces – although we love a great bright space, there has to be that moody comfortable vibe.
Bright Spaces – although we love moody spaces, there has to be that balance with bright and airy 😉
Seating for everyone – we really drove the importance of this one home by incorporating various seating pods in multiple projects. This was the year of the Great Room for EH Design where we had multiple homes with large rooms where the clients needed help with furniture layouts.
Ottomans – we love ottomans. They are so versatile and allow you to kick your feet up and relax. They allow for extra seating in a large gathering and are perfect for families with small kiddos which lessons the bumps on the heads from sharp edges.
Leather, leather, leather – there was not one client in 2019 where leather was not incorporated in some capacity. And for good reason, it’s durable, comfortable, versatile and stunningly beautiful.
Quartz – All. the. way. I am a firm believer of low maintenance but let’s be honest, time is limited. Quartz is stunning and low maintenance and there are endless looks. I’m thinking a beautiful soapstone look in 2020 is calling my name though…any takers?
