Makeup Vanity Space
We are so excited to share with you a portion of our Aspen Project - the master bathroom where we created this sweet makeup vanity space. Originally this was an unusable dead space in the master bath that didn't serve much purpose. With some creativity, paint and an electrician we turned this space into the perfect "Getting Ready" nook for the homeowner.
For the Aspen Project we also designed the Master Bedroom which we will reveal later as well but for both spaces we really wanted to lighten both the Master Bath and Bedroom up so we chose the beautifully blue tinted grey, Benjamin Moore Sleigh Bells.

Makeup Vanity Space
Here is our reveal of the makeup vanity space! We love how this turned out! This Loring Desk from Target (link to purchase below), is perfect for a vanity space because it has we built-in outlet on top to plug in your hairdryer, curling iron, strainer, etc. and controls the cords! This desk also has drawers to hide away and organize your makeup and we can't get enough of this beautiful light wood.
We had an electrician come in and wire the space for these beautiful brass sconces to sit alongside the hex mirror to provide the perfect lighting to apply makeup.
The clear ghost chair is perfect in this space because it doesn't take up too much space and because it's acrylic, it wipes clean of makeup, hairspray, etc. - all of the good stuff used to get ready for the day!
To add an even more personal touch to the space, we added a photo of the homeowner getting makeup applied on her wedding day which is just absolutely gorgeous!
Again, we just love how these simple changes made a huge impact to an unusable space.

Sink Vanity Space
In addition to the makeup vanity area of the Master Bathroom, simple changes to the sink vanity area changed up the space as well. Again, we changed up the paint in the overall bathroom which allowed the space to feel more open and bright. We also changed out the 2 mirrors in front of the sinks which made a huge impact to the space. Adding in new linens and decor that also serves a purpose like these clear containers which hold cotton balls and Q-tips, can surprisingly make a space feel more inviting and spa like. And of course the simple act of decluttering can make a world of difference in any space.
